Future Exhibits

The McRae Papers will be the backbone for an exhibition linking South Carolina’s involvement in Confederate banking, financing, purchasing, and supply of the entire Southern war effort. The exhibit will also detail what impact the importation of English goods through the blockade had on Confederate soldiers in the field. This exhibit will open at the South Carolina Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum during the national Civil War Sesquicentennial Anniversary in 2011 and then travel to other museums throughout the nation.
