Teacher's Morning Out

Teacher’s Morning Out is specifically designed for Social Studies and History teachers for all grades. The purpose of the program is to teach you how to incorporate museum resources into your classroom. Throughout the day you will hear guest speakers, take an in-depth tour of the museum, and learn how other teachers have been able to use these resources in their classrooms.

Come to Teacher's Morning Out to get ideas for supplementing lesson plans, meet other Social Studies teachers, and take a morning out to participate in a continuing education program that has been designed specifically for you. You may also consider using this workshop as a Professional Development Activity (Non-CEU Credit).

Each workshop lasts half a day. The cost of the program is $15 (payable to SC Confederate Relic Room) which includes lunch and a resource notebook. Sign up early because space is limited.
